General

PixelSuite is a comprehensive digital signage platform that allows you to manage, schedule, and display content across
multiple screens from a single dashboard. Whether you have one screen or dozens, PixelSuite provides the tools you need
to create engaging digital experiences.

PixelSuite supports currently only supports.

  • PixelSuite Player - Our dedicated hardware player
  • Android TV - Smart TVs and Android boxes

Security is our top priority:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3
  • Content is stored with AES-256 encryption at rest
  • Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing

The short answer is no, but if a player device loses internet connection it will continue to operate with the current
set of content on it. Once internet is restored it will talk back home to get any updates as needed.

Devices

A device shows offline when it cannot communicate with our servers. Common causes include:

  • Network issues - Check your internet connection
  • Firewall blocking - Ensure ports 443 and 8883 are open
  • Power issues - Verify the device is powered on
  • DNS problems - Try using Google DNS (8.8.8.8)

PixelSuite devices are designed to recover automatically:

  • Devices reconnect automatically when power is restored
  • Playback resumes from where it left off
  • No manual intervention required

To restart a device remotely:

  1. Go to Devices > Select your device
  2. Click Actions > Restart
  3. Confirm the restart

The device will be back online within 1-2 minutes.

Content

PixelSuite supports a wide range of formats:

Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP
Videos: MP4

For best results, use MP4 with the H.264 codec for videos and JPEG/PNG for images.

Yes, PixelSuite offers powerful scheduling:

  • Date ranges - Content plays between specific dates
  • Time slots - Content plays during certain hours
  • Day of week - Different content for different days
  • Recurring - Set up repeating schedules

After the content has been uploaded and assigned to the system it will take about 15 seconds up to 30 seconds to appear

Technical

PixelSuite devices require:

  • Bandwidth: Minimum 5 Mbps download (10+ Mbps recommended)
  • Ports: Outbound 443 (HTTPS), 8883 (MQTT)
  • Protocols: HTTPS, WebSocket, MQTT

For optimal performance, we recommend a dedicated network for your signage devices.

Add these rules to your firewall:

PixelSuite automatically scales content for any resolution:

  • Standard HD: 1366x768 (720p)
  • Full HD: 1920x1080 (1080p)
  • 4K UHD: 3840x2160
  • Portrait: Any of the above rotated 90°
